Volume Shadow Copy

Previous Versions, a part of Windows Explorer that allows persistent shadow copies to be created

We at Crown love VSS. It creates versioning, which means if a client loses a file, we can retrieve that file or they can as well very easily.

Here are some good links of VSS that we reference in order to perform out VSS operation. Please let us know if you have any questions about whether your network is covered by VSS and thanks for allowing us to be your IT support and this goes out to all of our San Diego computer consultant clients.

Here are the good links to check out the definitions of VSS.

Improved Employee Productivity

According to Matousec security, as described in one of their recent papers here, there is a new attack scenario discovered to bypass the most popular security software programs and hide itself well on the user's computer. This exploit, although rare and difficult to apply in mass, is a real threat to most Windows desktops.

Make sure to keep your patching up-to-date, and if in doubt, call Crown Computers and ask about our network patching possibilities.
